ZOW is taking place during the 'busy' part of the Chinese exhibition season
The timing couldn’t be any better: the first ZOW in Shenzhen is running from 19-22 March 2009, during the 'busy' part of the exhibition season in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong. The supplier fair for the furniture and interiors industry is running at the same time as the Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition (SIFE) and the furniture exhibitions in Guangzhou and Dongguan. The SIFE is the exhibition for the Chinese high-end market and attracts more than 60,000 visitors to the aspiring economic hub on the Pearl River delta each year. ZOW and SIFE are taking place at the same venue, in the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Elite international suppliers at the JSWB: ZOW in Shanghai attracts a good 4000 visitors
ZOW in Shanghai, which took place in the JSWB Global Home Furnishings Center for the first time in September 2008, may have been modest in size but certainly impressed visitors. A selection of elite international supplier companies were represented at ZOW, including the likes of Hettich, Henkel, Huwil, Jowat, Moralt, Pfleiderer, Titusplus, Vauth Sagel and Ungricht. ZOW attracted a good 4000 visitors to the JSWB in Shanghai, and it was the trendsetter of the sector with its innovative range of products. Visitors praised the concentrated presentation at ZOW and were very taken with the attractive exhibition venue.
ZOW 2009: New ideas and new markets
The next ZOW in Bad Salzuflen, running from 9 to 12 February 2009, is eagerly anticipated. More than 400 furniture supplier companies from all over the world have already registered, and will be exhibiting the new products of the season in February 2009 just in time for MOW. The innovative force of the sector has not let up and signifies concentrated design competence; new sales markets are the focus of the supplier industry and are perfectly at home at ZOW. ZOW 2009 will be the showcase for modern design ideas in the furniture and interiors industry, architecture and design, trade fair and retail design, lightweight construction and logistics.
Comprehensive market overview at the ZOW Verona: breadth and depth in all product groups
Between October 21 – 24, 2009, the ninth Italian edition of the ZOW (trade fair for suppliers to the furniture and interiors industry) will be taking place in Verona for the first time. The city of Verona lies in the heart of the Italy’s main furniture region, which stretches from Alto Livenza, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna all the way through to Marche. At its new venue, the ZOW will be offering a more comprehensive market overview than ever before. Due to the proverbially unlimited space available, the traditionally wide-ranging ZOW assortment will now be further expanded – an all-embracing range that is hard to find at similar trade fairs.
ZOW in Spain with more variety in the future: Move from Madrid to Zaragoza in 2009
From 2009 Zaragoza will be the new location for ZOW on the Iberian peninsula. The continuous service at the new venue will be guaranteed for exhibitors and visitors alike. ZOW in Zaragoza will profit from the advantages of a modern showground ready for further expansion. With the introduction of new product groups, the show will offer a wide-ranging and attractive assortment that is hard to find at similar trade fairs in Spain.

Survey organises second furniture supplier fair in China
Between 19 and 22 March 2009, the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre will play host to its first ZOW supplier fair for the furniture and interior design industry. ZOW is taking place at the same time as the Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition (SIFE), held every March, which brings together the decision-makers in the furniture industry in this important economic hub in southern China. The organiser is the Shenzhen Furniture Trade Association (SZFA), one of China’s most influential furniture associations. The organiser of ZOW, Survey (Asia) Marketing & Consulting, is delighted at this new strategic partnership and is confident that in SZFA it has found the optimum partner in Shenzhen.
ZOW takes off in Spain
New Sales Director for the Iberian Peninsula
Miguel Ángel Bonilla has assumed the position of Survey sales director for the Iberian peninsula with effect from June 13, 2008. Bonilla’s area of responsibility covers the furniture supplier trade fair ZOW and the woodworking machinery fair Z-mac, which are both being held in Saragossa from 2009, as well as the representation in Spain for all Survey events worldwide.
Furniture extravaganza in Shanghai - ZOW is in on the action from 11 - 15 September 2008
The next ZOW exhibition in Shanghai, the key business event for the furniture and interiors industry in China, will be held from 11 - 15 September 2008 at the new venue in the JSWB Global Home Furnishings Center. The show will run at the same time as the Shanghai Furniture Sourcing Fair 2008 and China International Furniture Fair. In September the booming city of Shanghai is set to welcome the movers and shakers in the international furniture industry – and ZOW will be there in the heart of the action. Many prominent suppliers from China and abroad have already booked their places at our show. Organiser Survey Asia anticipates more than 150 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors at ZOW 2008.
New spring date for M.O.W.: ZOW still the ideal sampling event of the year
From 2009 onwards, the M.O.W. Möbelordermesse Westfalica (Bad Salzuflen) exhibition will no longer be held in autumn, but in May instead. That means that ZOW (Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen) with its early date will remain the undisputed platform for suppliers to the furniture and interiors industry to showcase their newest products.
ZOW Spain goes to Zaragoza
(June 10th 2008, Madrid) SURVEY has decided to move the eighth edition of the ZOW tradefair to Zaragoza. It will be held from June 2nd – 5th 2009 in the Feria de Zaragoza. SURVEY has taken this decision as it will have the opportunity to extend the ZOW into product groups like interior design accessories and semi finished products such as doors, windows and flooring, as well as semi-finished wood products - which it considers of vital importance for its growth in the Spanish market. Those opportunities where not available in IFEMA.

Thoroughly positive and constructive – that was the mood among exhibitors and visitors at ZOW Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center: this year’s industry gathering offered sophisticated presentations and provided participants with outstanding contacts. There was a huge response to the Architectural Lounge and events supporting logistics, lightweight engineering and direct print special features. 771 exhibitors from 34 countries assembled at the heart of the East Westphalian furniture industry on February 25-28 to display their design ideas for the furniture and interior design industries for the coming season.

More than 700 international exhibitors are set to use ZOW 2008 as their official showcase to premiere their latest products for the furniture and interior design industries. All halls are fully booked, with Hall 19 which features “fittings” and Halls 22 and 23 – the traditional venue for decor printers – already sold out in the summer. More visitors are expected in 2008 than ever before, as ZOW will be the only B2B platform in Germany to provide a complete market overview for furniture industry professionals.
Rendezvous in Istanbul - ZOW premiere and IMOB in January/February 2008
The countdown is running. The first ZOW supplier show for furniture and interior design industries will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center on January 31st - February 3rd, 2008. Parallely the Turkish furniture fair IMOB will get underway one day earlier at the same venue, making Istanbul the destination of choice for professionals in the international furniture industry. Everyone including exhibitors, visitors, the press, trade associations and the organizer are looking forward to the event. Exhibitor numbers are certainly respectable. Rendezvous at the 2008 ZOW Architectural Lounge: Expanded Program of Events
Two years ago, the ZOW [East Westphalia Supplier Show] began staging events and focusing on special themes which are of interest to visitors from the architectural world. ZOW attracts large Crowds in Moscow: Furniture Supply Show 2007 for the first time at Expocentr
ZOW in Moscow, which was held at Expocentr for the first time this year in parallel with Mebel, was a complete success. 110 exhibitors at the show attracted nearly 10,000 visitors, which is a 100% increase compared to last year. Customers from the furniture and interior design industry took advantage of the opportunity to see all of the latest fittings, surfaces, materials and semi-finished products while the Russian furniture show was in progress. Most of the visitors at ZOW were from Russia and the former CIS countries, but a large number of international guests traveled to Moscow as well.

FKM 2007 Visitor Structure Audit: ZOW awarded Top Marks by Trade Public
ZOW - Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen [East Westphalia Supplier Show] - has once again received top ratings from its trade visitors. That's the result of the FKM (Gesellschaft zur freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe- und Ausstellungszahlen or Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics) official visitor structure audit. The independent audit society questioned more than 1,000 national and international trade visitors in the ZOW exhibition halls in Bad Salzuflen over all show days (February 26 - March 1, 2007).

This year, the Spanish furniture suppliers' show, ZOW, enters its sixth year. From June 12 to 15, 2007, the "Salon de Componentes, Semielaborados y Accesorios para la Industria del Mueble" takes place in Hall 8 of the Ifema Exhibition Center in Madrid. 8,000 professionals visit the fifth edition of ZOW Spain
ZOW Spain 2oo6 acquired more space, exhibitors and visitors. In figures this amounts to 40 % more exhibition space, 20 % more exhibitors and 33 % more visitors, in other words, 16,000 m2, 300 exhibitors and 8,000 professional visitors. These figures confirm the fact that ZOW Spain has already become a leading national showcase in accessories for the furniture industry, interior design and the wood industry, with a strong trend towards internationalisation if we take into account that 37 % of direct exhibitors were foreign firms. And if we add represented companies to these figures, their participation increases reaching 50 % of the total.
New exhibitor record for the 5th ZOW in Madrid
ZOW in Madrid is a mirror image of the general growth trend in Spain. This year on its fifth birthday, the Spanish version of the furniture and interior design industry suppliers' show will have significantly more space in which to present its wares in Hall 3 at the Ifema Exhibition Center. And increased numbers of trade visitors are in turn expected to arrive at the Exhibition Center in the Spanish capital from June 13-16, 2006, compared to the fourth ZOW in 2005 which welcomed more than 6,000 visitors.

The growth in the Spanish economy hardly ever gets a mention outside the country, except in terms of its tourism sector. It is often overlooked that for some years now the country as a whole has enjoyed steady growth. ZOW in Madrid is now a firm fixture in the market here, and the upward figures posted in the run-up to its fifth appearance on June 13-16, 2006 serve to underline this continuous positive trend.
Record Number of Exhibitors at 12th ZOW in Bad Salzuflen
ZOW has had a makeover. After a mere five and a half months of construction work, suppliers to the furniture industry were delighted to present their product innovations for the first time at the extended and modernized exhibition center in Bad Salzuflen from February 20 to 23. More than 700 exhibitors from 39 different countries and about 16,000 international trade visitors made this - the biggest get-together so far for the furniture supply industry in East Westphalia - another successful event.
Traffic Congestion during ZOW 2oo6
Regrettably we were faced with exceptional traffic congestion on the second day of this year's ZOW show. We would like to apologize for this unpleasant situation even though the problems in question were in no way the responsibility of SURVEY, the event's organizer. In spite of further improvements to the infrastructure around the fairgrounds it was impossible to prevent the trouble from arising.
Must-visit furniture event in Moscow
ZOW Moscow, which was originally to be held in April, has been put back to November 23-26, 2006. The furniture supply trade fair for the Russian furniture industry is therefore being staged for the first time in parallel with the most important Russian furniture trade fair, Mebel (November 21-25, 2006). ZOW is again being staged this year in Pavilion 57 of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VCC) in Moscow. In 2007, the event will move to an exhibition hall at the VVC which will be newly-built for then.
ZOW in Madrid anticipating growth spurt
The ZOW
in Madrid is still growing. In the show's fifth year, the organizer Survey
Marketing & Consulting S.L. (Blanes, Girona/Spain) is already able to
announce promising figures at just the start of the year: The self-imposed
growth target of 30% was already achieved by mid-January. This means that,
after 10,000 m2 last year, 14,000 m2 of the total 16,000 m2 in Hall 3 of the
Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I have already been allocated, five months ahead of
the start of the show.
